Jeffrey DeFeo, Esq.
is a licensed attorney and director of claims services for PinnacleOne's California operations. DeFeo has more than 27 years of experience in construction contract management, schedule delay analysis, claims prevention, dispute resolution and training. His extensive experience has included performing expert analysis of complex delays, disruption, liability, loss of productivity and damages for prisons, maintenance facilities, highways, bridges, wastewater treatment plants and many more.
Scott Tidemann
is director of claims services for PinnacleOne's Phoenix operations and has 26 years of experience in a variety of capacities. Tidemann has worked with owners, contractors, subcontractors and legal counsel across the U.S. assisting with disputes, program development and management, contract administration, scheduling, negotiations, risk assessment and project estimate/cost analysis. He has also been a guest speaker for numerous national associations and organizations.
John Rannestad, P.E.
is a senior consultant for PinnacleOne with 19 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Rannestad has prepared and/or evaluated over $100 million in construction disputes, and during the course of his claims work, has performed numerous complex schedule impact evaluations on roads, bridges, power plants, rail facilities, hospitals, schools, libraries, government office complexes and waste water treatment plants.
Ian Cartwright, C.Eng.
is a senior consultant with PinnacleOne and has more than 21 years of experience in engineering and construction as a design engineer, field engineer, superintendent, project manager and business manager for leading international construction companies. He has extensive experience in the interpretation of contracts and the compilation, substantiation and negotiation of construction claims. Cartwright has provided expert claims analysis to public owners, city and state law departments, contractors and attorneys.
Roy Cooper, P.E.
is an Associate Vice President with PinnacleOne and has more than 18 years of construction experience, including the analysis and review of complex construction claims from the beginning stages through trial support and expert testimony. Cooper has also assisted in the re-bidding and provided oversight on projects on behalf of the surety. In addition, he has been a successful project superintendent and engineer on high-profile projects where he was responsible for all aspects of construction. Cooper has a strong educational and technical background, along with a practical knowledge of construction principles and management. His years of field and management experience have given him the ability to quickly identify and solve complex construction issues.
